When it comes to Wikki Stix, your imagination is the limit.  Children love the free play aspect; they can be wound into spirals, around pencils and manipulated into whatever shape you can dream of.  They are such fun that both children and adults can’t stop playing, and the more they play, the more they develop their fine motor skills.
When it comes to using them on our laminated Activity Cards or any shiny surface, the sky is the limit.  Stick your Wikki to the surface and follow the path of the mazes, complete a dot-to-dot, or outline the dolphin.  Sticking them on the Activity Cards requires both hands to work together.  High levels of manipulatory skills are needed to turn the corners and follow the paths.
Our pack consists of 12 laminated reusable cards that can be wiped with a dry cloth if they become sticky.

With a global decline in children’s fine motor skills, this play dough press is an awesome strategy to curb the decline!

Research has shown grip strength in millennials has decreased so we have to be intentional about making sure our precious millennial isn’t part of those frightening stats. iPads encourage pointing and swiping instead of manipulative play. This means that the muscle foundations for pencil grip and handwriting are not getting the consolidation they need. This cool Play Dough Press – an adaptation of the garlic press – it great for the ultimate hand work out!

Who wouldn’t enjoy putting a ball of play dough into the Play Dough Press, giving the handles a hard squeeze and having spaghetti/hair/rain come out the other end?! Add a sheep or any other picture (not included) and they can cover him with hair, or add rain to the rain clouds or spaghetti to the meatballs – there is no limit to the creative fun your child can have while making his hand muscles strong!

We need our children to be developing the use of both their hands together! With this Play Dough Press the hands have to work together to roll the play dough ball and to squeeze the handles – unless they are super strong and can manage it with one hand!

We all find the gym hard at first so you can expect a few groans in the beginning – those muscles have not had to work so hard before! Invest in this Play Dough Press let your child stand out amongst the Millennials with strong hands and solid muscle foundations for fine motor skills. The Play Dough Press is the perfect fine motor activity for you and your little one!
