The Start Right Pencil Grip was designed by an occupational therapist to correct the grips she was seeing in her therapy room. This is the grip for the hyperextended thumb, or the thumb that assumes a position in the shape of a banana. Then double zip lock bag it (especially for little ones with teeth!). You can add glitter, google eyes, foam shapes etc. Your little one will love feeling the cold and squishy texture. For toddlers they can use their clever little fingers to find the shapes in the bag to get some lovely fine motor action going. You can do colour sorting, number recognition, face building or counting (all depending what you add to your bag).
